Family Solutions is a non-profit organization, dedicated to providing innovative programs to meet the varied needs of children and families in the Las Vegas Metropolitan area. Family Solutions was established February 11, 2003. Founder, Executive Director, Keisha Weiford is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has worked with children and families for over 5 years in a non-profit setting. She provides the vision and passion to work with families that are having difficulties and who do not normally seek out services.

Family Solutions is proud to be a provider for the “Helping Children COPE with Divorce” seminar. This seminar seeks to educate parents as to ways they can help their children adjust and handle their emotional and social adjustment to a divorce/separation. Research indicates the effects of divorce on children can be negative and potentially long term. Therefore, parents are given an opportunity to shift their attention from the personal aspects of the divorce to the needs of their children

The mission of Family Solutions, Inc. is to empower youth, adults, families and communities in Southern Nevada to develop, enhance, and maintain relationships through educational services, counseling, and co-operative community efforts.
